How we turned Ghost into a data visualisation platform in 5 minutes

In only two lines of code, we turned our Ghost newsletter into a data-driven dashboard website.

Our newsletter runs on the Ghost.org platform. Ghost is an open source project run by a non-profit organisation and is fast becoming one of the most popular platforms for newsletters and blogs.

At Datasmoothie, we love data visualisations. Like this one: What is the most used programming language among data scientists, according to the latest Stack Overflow survey?

Try clicking on the "Company size" filter. Data scientists at small organisations use JavaScript more, while people who work for organisations with 10 or more staff use Python the most.

Turn your website into a data-driven dashboard

After launching our new data processing engine Tally last year, we decided it should be available to everyone, not just our internal team, even if people weren't using the Datasmoothie platform to present their results.

The first step is to include our JavaScript and Stylesheet files in your Ghost installation. Paste the following into the  (go to Settings>Advanced>Code Injection).
